DIFFERENCES BETWEEN:
WILA NEW STANDARD CLAMPING I (NSCLI) AND COMPETITORS

WILA NSCLI AMADA ONE TOUCH WILSON EXPRESS
OPERATION Hydraulically operated from a single point and no external hoses. Manual unit available which is clamped by turning a special screw ¸ turn every 4 inches. Manual tool holders with handle every 6 inches. Hydraulic option to connect clamping holders with hoses which are vulnerable. Manual tool holders which have levers every 6 inches. Levers must be inserted or removed depending on part accessibility. No hydraulic clamping offered.
ACCURACY Tooling AND tool holder are .0004" accuracy. Tooling accuracy .0008" Same as Amada
CLAMPING TOOL LENGTHS Every tool length can be clamped at any position on the ram; there is a continuous clamp line. There is space between each of the tool holders. Clamping of small segments could be a problem; it is not possible to slide small segments between holders because they can fall out. Same as Amada
APPLICABILITY OF THE CLAMPING SYSTEM Clamping system can be adapted to every type of press brake. Only suitable for European style (Promecam/Amada) adaption. Offer different tool holders for different styles of press brakes.
VERTICAL TOOL CHANGING Tools can be inserted and removed vertically up to 20" length and up to 28 lbs weight at any position on the ram using patented SAFETY-CLICK. With manual clamping, only lengths that can be held in one hand because other hand needs to open / close lever. Hydraulically, max length is approx 10". Manual system. Only lengths that can be held by one hand. Multiple small lengths difficult to hold; longer lengths must be slid out the end of press brake; one hand needed to activate lever.
WORKING SPEED When clamping is activated, all tooling is automatically seated, centered, and aligned within 5 seconds. When clamping is activated, tooling is centered but you need to bring ram down to align tooling. Same as Amada
REVERSIBILITY Adaption is symmetrical to the centerline of the press brake; you need only one clamping to be able to reverse tooling. Adaption is not symmetrical so if you need to reverse tooling, dual clamping is needed (at extra cost). Same as Amada
